SMJ08130 Management
The Management sub-major is available to students who are not undertaking the Management major. It focuses on introducing students to the range of foundation skills and knowledge necessary for effective management practice. Students also gain an understanding of organisational design and change, and the management of the value chain.
Subject 21595 International Management Field Study involves overseas travel and related expenses (see the subject coordinator for further details).
Students undertaking the Management sub-major with the following major or sub-majors will need to substitute an alternative subject:
- MAJ08442 International Business students must substitute an alternative subject from SMJ08130 option list in place of 21510 Introduction to Strategy,
- SMJ08109 Management Consulting students must substitute an alternative subject from SMJ08130 option list in place of 21510 Introduction to Strategy,
- SMJ08219 Sustainable Enterprise students must substitute an alternative subject from SMJ08130 option list in place of 21510 Introduction to Strategy.
