This sub-major provides students with the theoretical and practical knowledge of the way in which information systems contribute to effective business. Students learn the processes, tools and technologies required to transform data into information and information into knowledge so as to enable sound business decision-making. Learn how to apply business intelligence techniques to extract information on market trends and behaviour, effectively analyse and utilise data, and create business intelligence systems to support decision-making.
