Description
In this subject students undertake a short research project with their UTS supervisor or, where appropriate, an industry or external co-supervisor. Prior to undertaking this subject, students must have completed 96068 Industrial Research Project A, formulated a scope for the project and demonstrated a thorough understanding of the research topic. Focusing on quality systems research, students gain an understanding of the research process, address and implement research methodologies, critically analyse and evaluate results, and present their findings. Students are responsible for establishing effective channels of communication and are involved in all aspects of research, from developing and gaining ethics approval for their own research proposal to preparing a final report demonstrating a thorough understanding of the research topic.
