SMJ10106 Managing Enterprises
The Managing Enterprises sub majors equips students for enterprise management roles by upskilling in a tool-kit of finance and enterprise evaluation, management practices and their application to the successful performance of engineering projects and engineering works, quality management systems, based on current trends in quality planning and analysis tools and techniques, and an understanding of the role of engineering and technical managers as responsible leaders in organisations. It focuses on the need to integrate the tool-kit of skills in professional practice through interaction with other people, not only subordinates and supervisors, but managers and leaders within the wider organisation.
