This subject involves exploring and framing a real-world problem to form the basis of a student’s major project. Students will select from a range of complex problem areas presented by industry partners and form cross-disciplinary design teams to address these in a way that reflects professional studio practice. Students are guided by experienced design mentors to incorporate social and collaborative design research into their projects and to manage interactions with partners and stakeholders. This subject lays the foundation for realising a major project to address this real-world problem in 85817 Professional Partnership Project B.
