Description
This subject introduces students to a wide range of relevant issues facing contemporary renewable energies at local and global scales. Students learn about emerging technologies, development and advances in renewable energies and engage in critical thinking by grappling with the challenges of conflicting and uncertain knowledge. This subject is industry-focused, showcasing current opportunities, challenges and barriers of electrification in different industries. A series of projects are included that are defined by the leading industries in different sectors. Guest lecturers and industry presenters provide examples relating to their particular frontier that form the basis of class discussions and project work.
