Description

This subject connects ceramics to the world of movie-making and animation through practical experiences.?This interdisciplinary subject provides a comprehensive foundation of theory and practice in merging the expressive world of clay with the technology-enhanced art of animation, specifically tailored for the primary school environment. The subject offers a dynamic exploration of both ceramics and claymation, providing students with a rich artistic experience as an integral component of primary school teaching. The subject encompasses historical and contemporary studies of clay, providing pre-service teachers with the skills to guide primary school students to express themselves individually while learning various clay and ceramic techniques, developing a deep understanding of artistic expression. Pre-service teachers also explore innovative ways to integrate claymation techniques into the primary school curriculum, fostering creativity, storytelling, and digital literacy.
