Description
The aim of this subject is to explore current and future roles of technologies for supporting teaching and learning. The subject considers how best to prepare learners to design and teach in a dynamic and changing digital world. It encourages practitioners to become adaptive, responsive educators and to investigate pedagogical possibilities for using contemporary and emerging learning technologies. The subject develops the knowledge, skills and beliefs to support students' development as critically reflective users of digital technologies and to enable their exploration of imaginative scenarios in tomorrow's learning spaces. The subject adopts an inquiry-based process in which real problems and questions are identified and explored in depth by individuals and teams to assess the role of technologies in generating deep knowledge pertinent to their professional learning needs.
