In this subject participants learn how to create learning environments that foster Indigenous students’ learning and success in tertiary education contexts. Participants learn about Indigenous student aspirations, common challenges in studying at university and how Indigenous students experience university study. Employing reflective teaching practices, participants identify assumptions that might frame their teaching work with Indigenous learners. The subject draw on a combination of research and student voices and is designed for university lecturers and tutors teaching in higher education settings.
