MAJ08976 Sport Business
The Sport Business major prepares students to work in the multi-billion dollar sport industry, a dynamic sector that has demonstrated sustained growth in revenue, expansion via new activities, and innovation via media and digital platforms. Both the high performance and community sport sectors offer a range of employment opportunities for graduates with management, marketing, and financial skills. UTS has industry connections across multiple codes of sport, as well as links with international and national sports bodies. Through the development of applied knowledge and the opportunity of professional internships, Sport Business students gain a thorough understanding of the Australian and international sports sectors, the role that sport plays in cultures and societies, and the interrelationships between sports bodies and their key stakeholders.
