Description
This subject enables students to reflect on their workplace practice from the previous subjects in the Professional Practice Program and to summarise their experience and learning in a form that is useful for applying for a graduate engineering role, for chartered status with Engineers Australia, or as an original contribution to engineering professional development.

Upon successful completion of this subject students should be able to:

Engineers Australia Stage 1 Competencies
This subject contributes to the development of the following Engineers Australia Stage 1 Competencies:

Teaching and learning strategies
Students engage in four 2-hour interactive workshops, and a showcase Professional Practice & Leadership Forum in which students present their work to industry representatives.
- Students will be given instructions to create a Peer Review Group (PRG) with assigned group members to undertake small group learning activities during workshops and outside of class time.
All students are required to present at the Professional Practice & Leadership Forum (appears as seminar on your timetable). Students who are unable to present at the Forum may be able to apply for Special Consideration

Minimum requirements
In order to pass this subject a student must:
- Attempt all assessment tasks, AND
- Present Assessment Task 3 parts i & ii in the seminar class (PPL Forum),
- AND Pass assessment tasks 2 & 3
Students who do not present Assessment Task 3 Part i & ii during the Professional Practice and Leadership Forum (Seminar on your timetable) may be refused permission to be considered for assessment in this subject under Student Rule 3.8.2, and a Fail will be recorded for this subject.
