Description
This subject introduces students to the major structural and functional components of health systems, both in Australia and overseas. Key arrangements, stakeholders, processes and performance trends are explored. Students develop the ability to critically evaluate and plan strategies to address major challenges facing health systems. In this way, the subject provides a foundation for students to understand and influence health system improvement from an evidence-informed position.
