Description
This subject focuses on bringing together diverse disciplinary and professional perspectives to identify paradigms guiding current thinking in a range of industries and sectors. Working in multidisciplinary teams, students probe real-world societal challenges posed by industry or community partners to explore pathways to transition. Students collectively probe the value of their disciplinary practices in understanding these social challenges and identify new paradigms and practices that could lead to betterment. Students explore existing networks and ecosystems for insights into change-making, with a view to systems transformation. In this process, students develop their awareness of the larger systemic issues at play in the world, and build their confidence in becoming collaborative change-agents.
