94753 Designing Regenerative Futures Studio

In this subject, participants tackle the challenge of designing educational environments capable of continuous learning and transformation in response to and anticipation of inevitable change. They explore regenerative approaches that go beyond sustainable and resilient practices for responding to shocks and stresses in systems, building capability to do and be more than was possible before and growing biocultural abundance for future generations. Given our interconnected societies are becoming increasingly more complex, substantially more volatile and much more uncertain, participants collectively identify regenerative principles for emergent innovation and transformative paths to ethical futures. They design and trial small-scale experiments to gauge how insights could be gained into future-oriented initiatives that anticipate change and generate opportunities for creative, bold reform.
