Description

This subject explores the health of older people in the context of Indigenous primary health care. The subject examines aging from a population and health perspective and is designed to challenge student's perceptions of age and ageism. Students identify the common issues experienced by the aging population and employ practical strategies to support the older person to maintain optimal health and wellbeing.
