Description
Understanding the legal and technical requirements for the management of a laboratory is important for all staff working in this professional environment. In this subject, students learn how processes and workflows are managed within a pathology laboratory, the requirements for accreditation, work health & safety and quality control. They learn about the main Laboratory Integrated Management System used to record all this information. Students also learn about patient privacy and record keeping.
