Description
This subject extends understanding of photography to an intermediate level. It introduces students to documentary practices related to street photography as well as more advanced studio work utilising studio flash. Both 'street' and 'studio' are fundamental sites in the history and practice of photography. Building on the prerequisite subject, students continue to develop creativity, innovation, conceptualisation skills and visual awareness. Students also explore how varying genres, contexts and applications impact the meaning of photographs.
