Description
This subject deals with the legal principles related to binding promises and the issues arising out of their interpretation, performance, and termination. The topics covered include the formation of contracts (agreement, consideration, intention, writing, capacity, privity); content and construction (terms); vitiating factors (misrepresentation, duress, undue influence and unconscionable conduct); and discharge by performance and non-performance of contractual obligations (breach and frustration).
