This subject focuses on project, people and stakeholder management as the key competencies associated with successful leadership in science. Students have the opportunity to learn about various aspects of leadership, as well as develop and practice their own skills by engaging in practical individual and group work. The subject introduces students to specific methods and tools used in project and people management. Special focus is given to appropriate and effective communication and decision-making in project and team situations, as well as the ability to present and promote ideas, influence and facilitate organisational dynamics in science and project environments.
