0cpDescription
Through the thesis in Society, Politics and Environment students conduct a significant research project. Their project may be empirical, analytical, comparative, individual or collaborative. It may be conducted independently or embedded in a workplace to strengthen research impact. Students' projects address societal challenges, develop tools for critical thinking and help bring about positive change. They receive guidance and support from a tailored supervisory panel selected from staff in sociology, politics and political economy, science and technology studies, geography, history and anthropology. Through the thesis project students develop the necessary analytical, knowledge and methodological skills to conduct impactful research. Seminars and workshops help deepen and broaden students' knowledge, immersing them in a research community and providing support in thesis writing and research communication.
