Technological change is a given in workplaces of the future and this subject aims to equip students with theoretical and practical tools to remain agile in responding to these inevitable shifts. The subject consolidates students' understanding of how new technologies interact with existing technologically and socially structured environments through exploring how a work-based context might respond to the transformative shifts brought about by the emergence of a new disruptive technology. Students design and prototype solutions to a problem-based scenario including gaining experience in presenting to clients and workplace management, advocating design solutions and building a business case.
