In this studio, participants research and develop creative project solutions using emerging visualisation technologies. In the process, they extend their skills in critical thinking and collaborative problem solving for professional practice.

The Academy cohort explores approaches that optimise existing processes, prototype new methodologies and identifies opportunities to creatively and productively disrupt standard ways of working. Within a professional studio environment, they explore a range of emerging areas that can range from immersive visualisation and virtual production to augmented, virtual and mixed reality and beyond. They consider and examine ideas from a range of disciplines, develop and test multiple workflows and put them into practice to produce well-developed concepts.

Studio hours are set to 35 hours a week to mirror the work practices, procedures and standards of a professional digital studio.
