Description

In this subject students will gain an overview of the appropriateness and applicability of stakeholder analyses and modelling approaches to complex systems. A range of simulation tools and techniques will also be explored, and students will develop skills in applying modelling techniques such as Agent Based Modelling. Students will apply these tools and methods to complex systems in a variety of domains, such as health, transportation, energy, and the environment. Through this work, students will analyse complex system characteristics such as emergence, self-organisation and adaptability, and skilfully apply the methods to support decision making.
