Description

Students learn about recent developments in banking, related to financial technology. The subject introduces students to technological innovations that may affect a bank’s competitive position in lending (e.g. peer-to-peer lending) and deposit-taking (e.g. online banking). In addition, it covers innovations that banks can use to their advantage, such as big data analytics, artificial intelligence, robo-advising and blockchain technology.
