Description
This subject extends the basic analysis skills gained in core subjects of the Bachelor of Business by addressing advanced quantitative analytical techniques, tools and technologies used in support of managerial planning and decision-making. The subject emphasises both the theoretical underpinning of the modelling and analysis techniques, and practical challenges in the generation, interpretation and communication of the results of analysis by accountants, financial analysts and managers. The subject presents business analytics from the accountant's and manager's perspective and does not require programming experience. The practical and analytical skills gained are valuable for any organisation, regardless of its size or industry.
