Description

This subject develops student’s knowledge, managerial judgement and competence while also building the technical and communication skills needed for evidence-based strategic and managerial decisions. Students learn to identify what data and other information sources are available in various business contexts, gain an appreciation of how data driven insights influence decision makers and other stakeholders and also explore theories that explain why evidence is often ignored. Students explore the competitive advantage opportunities afforded by big data and AI. Students develop deeper understanding and skills using data to build business cases, make business recommendations and develop organisational strategy.
