This subject examines the marketing planning process as it applies to events of various types. In examining this process, the subject deals with: the event marketing environment; motivations and decision-making processes of event attendees; event marketing and positioning strategies; the event marketing mix elements (e.g. promotion, pricing, ticket distribution, etc.); managing experience quality; and approaches to monitoring, controlling and evaluating event marketing efforts.
