Description
External environment factors have forced supply chain leaders to increasingly take decisive actions, adapting effectively to new ways of working and enhancing their risk-management capabilities. In this subject, students learn how to deal with risks and disruptions in supply chains, especially in a volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous (VUCA) environment. Students identify potential risks and hazards that can arise in a supply chain in different contexts and how to manage these risks. They apply different models and strategies to manage various risks and disruptions arising from VUCA, develop a portfolio of skills to use in such scenarios, and develop a risk management framework that can be applied in the design of a resilient supply chain network.
