Description

In this subject, students learn about emerging technologies that significantly impact the property industry in the near future. The subject covers technologies and applications such as artificial intelligence, smart and sustainable buildings, intelligent building management systems, digital twins, hybridised buildings and blockchain in the particular context of property management and facilities management aspects.

The subject also includes hands-on exercises and demonstrations on the technological applications during block-mode on-campus classes. The teaching aims to assist development of the knowledge and skills required to complete practical assessment tasks on relevant industry issues and initiatives, supported with extensive online learning resources. Individual formative feedback is provided through staged review of individual submissions.
