Description
This subject introduces students to the building construction industry's technology and construction management processes with particular focus on regulation and build quality. The subject is divided broadly into two component parts. The first component acquaints the student with construction technology for residential buildings. The second component deals with construction technologies for multi-storey, multi-occupancy residential construction and high-rise construction. Build quality and regulation is discussed in relation to the topic areas throughout the subject.
