Description

This subject provides a framework for the planning and control of construction projects. This subject covers key principles of time management including scoping work, developing a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), activity scheduling and critical path programming. Digital technologies are used to support the programming of construction works in this subject. The relationship between time and quality of a construction project is explored and concepts to manage quality (quality assurancve and control) are reviewed. The management of risk is considered including the identification, evaluation, control and applied to construction methology and associated program.
