Description
Students explore the architectural model through the lens of a series of iconic houses; learning how to distill architectural documentation into a hand-crafted 3D form. With a focus on analogue model making techniques at the physicals scales 1:100, 1:50 and 1:20, students also explore model production at various time scales – from the quick concept sketch model to detailed presentation technique. A clear focus on sustainable resourcing is undertaken whilst learning best-practice model making techniques, material efficiencies and an exploration of analogue tools.
