They receive feedback on their lesson presentation and presentations from other students. They develop their ability to use technology in teaching mathematics in technology workshops. Students undertake individual research to develop the ability to explain mathematical ideas accurately. They develop an ability to reflect on a set of lessons with revision in light of practicum experiences, and engagement in an assignment which critically examines and applies current thinking in the area of middle school mathematics teaching by analysing an interview of a school student.
