The subject builds classroom management capabilities introducing the concepts of careful instructional planning and delivery, and relationship development and examines the criteria for selecting different preventive and management approaches and the development of appropriate behaviour plans. Pre-service teachers are supported to draw upon relevant policy, legislation and guidelines for anti-racism, anti-bullying and student wellbeing.
