Description

This subject explores how Society and Culture teaching and curriculum in the HSC year can be organised and managed for effective learning and is closely aligned to the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers (Graduate) descriptors. Drawing on in-depth study of the secondary Stage 6 Society and Culture syllabus, lesson planning, approaches to learning and teaching, and different forms and functions teaching and learning activities, teacher-education students gain the skills and understanding required to plan for and manage a successful Society and Culture classroom.
