SMJ10111 Software Development
The Software Development sub major explores current trends and challenges in the development and practice of enterprise architecture. In small teams, students apply contemporary enterprise architecture practices to architecture project work. Students learn to integrate and align different enterprise architecture layers to better support business goals and objectives, and use of information systems in generating business value for organisations. It deals with the different types of enterprise information requirements, application of information systems to business problems, and recent developments and technologies in the marketplace. Emphasis is on organisational strategies for information systems, mobile, cloud and social computing, and design activities including working in design teams. A number of subjects are geared to provide real-world exposure to the students.
