SMJ10107 Interaction Design
The Interaction Design sub major develops students' understanding of human–computer interaction (HCI) and interaction design principles, including the main concepts, tools and techniques available to build human-centred systems. Students hone their skills in optimising the user experience through responding to real-world problems, designing technology solutions, prototype devices and working on digital media projects. Students work in a collaborative and self directed environment designing interactive digital products, digital environments, systems, and services introducing them to the discipline and giving them the potential to transition into various jobs under the interaction design umbrella.
