MAJ02902 Information Technology

This major is designed for students who have an information technology background or a keen interest in information technology. The major helps professionals develop specialised IT skills, equips people considering entry to the IT industry from other fields, or challenges the IT professional. The major offers the participant either a platform entry for those with a non-IT background (STM90695) or a more specialised entry for those with an IT background (CBK90802). The innovative programs cover growth areas such as computer graphics and gaming, data mining, e-business technology, human-centred design, interactive multimedia, internetworking and strategic IT management. Participants have the opportunity to acquire knowledge, strategies and skills that cover the applications and management of technology.
