Description

This is a capstone research subject for the Master of Applied Policy. This subject builds the skills for students to conduct primary and secondary research in a public policy and governance context; to link their work to current literature, including readings derived from any of the subjects they have already undertaken; and to write a research proposal.

In this subject, students prepare a research proposal that responds to a policy problem set by an external sponsor or selected by the student based on work-related contexts. Students refine a research problem and research question, and put forward a research design and associated data gathering methodologies to address the research question.
