Description

This subject is the sixth in a series of six subjects for students with no prior knowledge of the Spanish language, or first in a series of six subjects for students who have successfully completed HSC Spanish, or its equivalent. One of the primary aims of this subject is to consolidate and extend students' skills in reading, writing, listening and speaking and prepares them to undertake in-country study in Latin America and Spain. In addition, it covers aspects of Latin American and Spanish people and culture, through contemporary Hispanic literature. This subject corresponds to Level B2+ (higher intermediate user) of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (Council of Europe).
