Description

Students in this subject work in simulated learning environments to learn and develop the requisite midwifery practice skills. Students engage in midwifery practice and are provided with opportunities to reflect on their practice. In the midwifery practice setting, students work with midwives and implement care based on clinical decisions developed in collaboration with others. Students are expected to continue with their continuity of midwifery care experiences. The skills acquired in this subject relate to, and are supported by, the concurrent theoretical subject, 92359 Women with Complex Pregnancies.
