6cp; 6hpw or 3hpw (tutorial)
Requisite(s): 48 credit points of completed study in spk(s): STM90839 Core subjects (Creative Intelligence and Innovation)
There are course requisites for this subject. See access conditions.

This subject enables students to situate their own interests and curiosity in relation to emergent ideas from disciplinary research and practice. Students engage in critical inquiry, questioning deterministic future scenarios by historically positioning and examining assumptions underpinning contemporary innovation and research agendas. Through their encounters with emerging cutting-edge ideas, existing practices and future visions, students identify potential synergies and preferable trajectories as they articulate their own original, well-informed vision of a future. Students are challenged to explore the generative nature of innovation, inspiration and learning in these imagined future worlds. The subject exposes students to a range of engagement modes, encouraging experimental approaches to expression and communication, and culminates in a public event where audiences interact with a student-envisioned future.
