Fields of practice: Information Systems program

This subject enables students to analyse and articulate how technology can be used to assist organisations, without the technology becoming an end in itself. In particular, the subject aims to develop an appreciation for the importance of distributed information and networking to decision-making and how to provide such information to ensure its usefulness to the decision makers. Students are given a strong foundation of information systems including data, processes, services, and networking concepts to evaluate their impact on stakeholders including customers, managers, and employees, suppliers, manufacturers, service makers and regulators.
