Undergraduate

Description

In this studio, students develop the skills needed to identify values and value-propositions in any organisational context and issues faced by organisations in today’s complex environments to maintain these values. The focus is on developing new ways of IS-enabled shared value creation with an organisation’s partners, clients and other stakeholders in the areas such as supply chains, community services, managing engineering projects, or business networking.

Students learn how to gather information needed to identify and analyse value-creation problems and opportunities in any organisational context. The approach taken combines design thinking tools used to identify relevant information and data analytics used to make decisions on the basis of gathered information. An overriding theme is how organisations respond to changes in today’s complex environment while continuing to create value for their stakeholders.
