This subject explores management perspectives on contemporary telecommunications, data communications and networks in a collaborative environment. Topics covered include: new communications technologies; Internetworking; domestic and international communications environments; application-oriented services; client/server systems; introduction to distributed processing; distributed databases; emerging technologies; and business and telecommunications planning.
