Recommended studies: basic internet skills and understanding of the business environment
This subject develops students' awareness of e-commerce issues and their understanding of the stakeholders, their capabilities and their limitations in the strategic convergence of technology and business. Topics include business models for e-commerce, security, legal and ethical issues, and technologies that underpin e-commerce. Students develop their ability to evaluate e-commerce businesses and to explore future e-commerce opportunities.
