27755 Management of Creative Organisations

There are course requisites for this subject. See access conditions.

In this subject, students develop a critical appreciation of management practices and organisational forms in creative organisations. Students choose an organisation within the creative industries and study it through the lens of a management issue such as – but not limited to – power, control, conflict, negotiation, decision-making, problem-solving, leadership, human resource management and entrepreneurialism, and strategic planning. More than an academic exercise, students also consider how their case study could potentially benefit the organisation of their choosing.
