21960 People and the Future of Work

This subject equips students with critical skills to understand and navigate contemporary working relationships. Students learn about the elements of human resources management including strategy, employee experience and performance management. Through learning activities, students examine the available evidence concerning the policy and management contingencies that enhance employee and organisational outcomes through lenses of talent, diversity and human resource management, and advance strategies to enact positive outcomes in simulated and real-life scenarios. Particular focus is placed on the changes associated with the future of work and their implications for people and human resource management.
