21920 Sport Governance and Integrity

This subject requires students to reflect deeply on governance protocols and integrity issues in sport business and/or management at local, national and international levels. Students examine the ethical, political, structural and policy dimensions of sport organisations, with a particular focus on managerial responsibilities and the application of rules to the athlete workplace. This subject provides students with skills by which to develop critical insights into the governance of sport, and to be cognisant of measures that seek to optimise integrity on and off the playing field.
