This subject draws on functional knowledge in business and applies this to real case studies. The subject is framed as a strategic consultancy, whereby students are expected to undertake professional assessment of clients’ needs and challenges in order to provide viable solutions and rigorous business plans. Students are expected to work closely with the client, undertake primary research and analyse secondary data sources in order to identify business problems and design strategic business solutions. They work in teams to achieve innovative results for the client reflecting integrity in assessing the situation, communicating and justifying the results to the client and independent assessors.
